Usage and Copyright Policy
Please read and respect the following terms, regarding usage and copyright of all images belonging to Kathy Siney and Silver Wings Art
1. Kathy’s art is not to be reproduced or distributed in any way- online or otherwise, without permission of the artist. Images are not free to use and even posting any copyrighted artwork on the internet or other public domain, without the artist’s consent, qualifies as publishing and is therefore a violation of law.
2. Artwork must not be altered in any way, in an attempt to bypass copyright. This includes colour adjustment, cropping, distortion, additions or any other effects.
3. No persons shall be allowed to create merchandise from Kathy’s images, unless a licensing agreement and contract has been verified by both parties. Buying a print or any other item featuring Kathy’s artwork, does NOT enable you to recreate or reprint it, to create your own items of any kind. You are only buying the product and NOT the reproduction rights. This includes scanning prints and reprinting them, or producing T shirts, badges or any other form of merchandise.
4. Artwork may not be used for avatars, tubes, sigs, websets, blinkies, banners, globes, adverts, stationary, dolls animations or any other methods which uses or modifies these images. Whilst you are free to create these for your own private use, they are not available for public domain or profitable gain. Whilst you may have honorable intentions, someone else may not, and could copy them onto another web site whilst being ignorant of these policies.
5. Permission may be granted for use on Fan Art sites with the following terms; you MUST seek prior permission and await a response. If granted, you must display CLEAR credit to the artist on or alongside the image used; e.g. ©Kathy Siney, as well as a link or banner back to us, on the appropriate page of your site.
6. Tattoos of Kathy’s art are allowed, but tattoo artists are not permitted to commercially offer these images without a prior agreement. It is also on the understanding that the tattooist destroys the carbon / stencil image of Kathy’s art which has been used upon you. It would also be quite polite to purchase the print from us; that way, you get an accompanying picture of your tattoo and your tattooist gets a crisp, clear image to work with ( and Kathy also receives some payment for her work!)
If you see Kathy’s artwork anywhere - online or otherwise, without any credit to the artist and you suspect it may be copied or stolen, then please do contact us. Please be fully aware that this is art theft and is breaking copyright laws. Kathy Siney retains all rights to images and ANY use without prior agreement, is illegal and action will be taken.
